It is an ideal choice for expanding the number of output pins in your Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other similar projects. This board is designed to provide both analog and digital outputs. By connecting 4 outputs from your existing circuit, you can expand to 16 outputs with this board.
Communication Protocols
The CD74HC4067 16-Channel Analog Digital Multiplexer supports UART, I2C, and SPI communication protocols. This feature allows you to connect the TX pins of 16 different devices to a single RX pin on your microcontroller. For bi-directional communication, a second board can be added to connect the TX line of your microcontroller to the RX lines of 16 devices.
