Arduino Flame Detection Sensor Module
This module, designed for Arduino, is capable of detecting flames or light sources by utilizing infrared technology.
Key Features of the Module:
- Capable of detecting flames or light sources with wavelengths ranging from 760 to 1100 nanometers. It can detect a lighter flame from a distance of 80cm. The detection distance increases with the size of the flame.
- The module has a detection angle of approximately 60 degrees and is especially sensitive to the flame spectrum.
- The sensitivity of the module can be adjusted using the blue digital potentiometer shown in the image.
- The module provides a comparator output, offering a clean signal, good waveform, and strong driving ability of more than 15mA.
- The module comes with an adjustable precision potentiometer for sensitivity tuning.
- The working voltage of the module ranges from 3.3V to 5V.
- The output form of the module includes DO digital switch output (0 and 1) and AO analog voltage output.
- The module has fixed bolt holes for easy installation.
- The size of the small board PCB is 3.2cm x 1.4cm.
- The module utilizes a wide voltage LM393 comparator.

Instructions for Use:
- The flame sensor is highly sensitive to flames but also reacts to ordinary light. It is typically used for flame alarms and similar applications.
- The output interface of the small board can be directly connected to the IO port of a single-chip microcomputer.
- Ensure a safe distance between the sensor and the flame to prevent damage due to high temperatures. The flame distance for a lighter is 80cm, and this distance increases with the size of the flame.
- The small board provides an analog output mode and AD conversion processing for higher accuracy.
