2-Channel 12V Arduino Relay Module with Optocoupler Protection
The 2-Channel 12V Arduino Relay Module is an optocoupler-protected device, designed to be triggered by a 12V signal. It is compatible with Arduino and a variety of other microcontrollers. The module operates on a 12V power source, while the signal pin is controlled via the microcontroller. For multi-channel relays, the Vcc and Gnd pins are shared. Each relay is equipped with trigger pins, such as In1 and In2. To activate the relays on the module, simply send a signal to the corresponding trigger pins. The trigger signal consumes 20mA of current.
Key Features and Specifications
- Switching Capacity: Capable of switching up to 30V 10A DC or 220V 10A AC, making it versatile for a range of projects.
- Relay Terminals: The module is equipped with NC (Normally Closed), NO (Normally Open), and COM (Common) terminals. This allows for the relay to be configured to either create a short circuit or open the circuit when triggered.
- Operating Voltage: 12V
- Trigger Current: 20mA
- Optocoupler Isolation: Yes
Instructions for DC Applications
For DC applications, connect the positive (+) to the COM terminal. Depending on your desired configuration, connect the negative (-) to either the NO terminal for a normally open circuit, or the NC terminal for a normally closed circuit.
