SW420 Arduino Tilt Sensor Module
The SW420 Arduino Tilt Sensor Module is designed to detect the angle of inclination. It achieves this through the use of two small balls located within the sensor. The functionality of these balls is dependent on their position relative to the sensor's connectors.
Operation of the Tilt Sensor
When the sensor is tilted to a specific angle, the balls inside the sensor disconnect from the connectors situated underneath, thereby acting as open switches. Conversely, when the sensor is in an upright position, the balls make contact with the connectors on the sensor's leg, resulting in a closed switch.
Adjusting Sensitivity and Output Information
The module includes a potentiometer that allows for sensitivity adjustments. The sensor's information is processed by the LM393 comparator. The LEDs on the module provide a visual indication of the sensor's status.
