It outputs a voltage that is proportional to the magnetic field strength it senses. Working Principle
When no magnetic field is present, output voltage is roughly Vcc / 2.
A north pole near the sensor decreases the voltage.
A south pole near the sensor increases the voltage.
Output voltage varies linearly with magnetic field strength and polarity.
