8 Channel IR Tracking Sensor Module

This module is specially designed for line following robots and includes 8 IR LED/phototransistor pairs arranged at 1 cm intervals. It is a highly preferred solution in robotics thanks to its stable and reliable performance.

Each sensor on the board provides a separate analog voltage output. A pull-up resistor is connected to each sensor. The output voltage changes analogically based on the surface's reflectivity or the distance to the object. As reflectivity increases, the output voltage also increases.

In addition to line-following applications, the QTR-8A Sensor Module can also be used as a proximity or object detection sensor.
